Donnis came out to Chicago a couple weeks ago to perform at Lincoln Hall for Jugrnaut's Pop Them Thangs event. While there, Mike Carson and I rolled over to his hotel the next day where he was shooting a music video for 'Yupp', a track off his upcoming mixtape. We chopped it up before the shoot started, talking about everything from making the 2010 XXL Freshman list, his debut album on Atlantic Records, working with Fools Gold, how being in the military affected his music and more.
