Cardi B made history today as her hit single 'Bodak Yellow' finally topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This makes her the first solo female rapper to claim the top spot since Lauryn Hill released 'Doo Wop (That Thing)' in 1998, and Cardi B and Lauryn Hill are the only solo female rappers to have ever reached the number one spot. Cardi B gave a speech today after receiving the news, and everyone from Missy Elliott to Lil Yachty congratulated her on Twitter. Congratulations to Cardi B on this incredible accomplishment!
